Design space inspired by the poem <MY GRANDMOTHER’S HOUSES> by Jackie Kay.
This project aims to interrogate the story to the stage and decide which moments require the most exciting or sensitive transformations.
My grandmother's time is the same as Korean history.
She lived through all the history that happened in Korea for
90 years. even if the Japanese colonial period,
the Korean War, the financial crisis.
Having Alzheimer's disease, she started to learn Hangul(Korean Alphabet) to remember her life.
Her handwriting is both love and history to me.
This design is only a tribute to my grandmother, Deok-soon.
