Making a creative performance based on William Shakespeare’s Othello (1603).
The stage consists of a huge trapezoidal window in a huge circle, with a wall full of sand, and a huge pool of water that reflects on it.
The water in the puddle reflects a trapezoidal shape. Resulting in the shape of a huge hourglass when the trapezoidal and the reflected trapezoidal present on the stage meet.O
The circle on the stage keeps turning and the shape of the sand in it changes. It shows right and wrong which can vary depending on the point of view.
Othello may think what he's doing is right by seeing the sand he's standing on evenly spread out,
but the entire audience and Iago can see that his situation is going wrong by looking at the crooked trapezoid.
