Making a create a realised, devised performance based on William Shakespeare’s Othello (1603).
Work with a director and three actors, and the performances will take place in the Wimbledon Theatre.
Duality : mirror and threads
Depending on the situation,
the mirror frame with the thread can be a mirror,
a venue for a show hosted by Iago,
or an abstract space that visualizes Othello’s complex emotions.
It also expresses the fragmented and
increasingly blurred self of Othello.
And other figures by projecting live video on thin threads
rather than real mirrors.
